Rita Ann Knipstein passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2017 in Royse City, TX at the age of 68. She was born to Joe Frank Wooldridge & Helen Wooldridge Wallace in Terrell, TX.



Rita worked at the Terrell State Hospital where she started the medical transcriptionist department. She also worked for Lake Pointe Hospital in Rockwall, TX. She loved horses and she competed in barrel racing. She also enjoyed watching birds especially, songbirds & hummingbirds. One of her favorite things to do was go to the beach and being able to spend time with her...

Rita is preceded in death by her dad, Joe Frank Wooldridge; brother, Tommy Joe Wooldridge; sister, Margaret Helm; & her in-laws, Edward Louis & Robbie Marion Knipstein.



She is survived by her husband Tom Knipstein; daughter, Lisa Beasley & husband Blake; mother, Helen Wooldridge Wallace; grandchildren, Brittany Beasley & Erin Beasley; great grandson, Ryden Blake Bealsey; sisters, Martha B. Shaw & Alma Joyce Wooldridge; brother-in-law, Robert Charles Knipstein; sister-in-law, Mary Diane Maughn; & many nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.



Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Funeral Home in Terrell, TX. Funeral Service will also be at Anderson-Clayton on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 10 a.m. with interment immediately following at Chisholm Cemetery in McLendon-Chisholm, TX.
